TIFFIN — The Ritz Players will hold open auditions for ”Fiddler on the Roof” at 6:30 p.m. Sunday and Monday on the main stage at The Ritz Theatre, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin. The show will be performed Feb. 17, 18, 25 and 26 at The Ritz.

FINDLAY — The University of Findlay Concert-Chorale, which includes students and community members, is recruiting choristers for its April 2 spring concert featuring Gabriel Faure’s pieces, including “Requiem.” An audition is required to join the group, but no preparation is necessary.

FINDLAY — The Marathon Center for the Performing Arts is presenting a completely reimagined production of Tchaikovsky’s holiday classic, “The Nutcracker.” Blending classical ballet with contemporary dance, Neos Dance Theatre will present “A 1940’s Nutcracker” at 8 p.m. Dec. 16 and 3 p.m. Dec. 17 at the Marathon Performing Arts Center.

MARION — Director Emily Yaksic has announced auditions for the Palace Theatre’s junior stage production “James and the Giant Peach” are 5-7 p.m. Dec. 27-28. Yaksic is looking for children ages 7-14 years to play a variety of lead and supporting characters for this stage play.

BUCYRUS — The Crawford Theatre Company will present “Disney’s The Lion King Jr.” at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and 5 p.m. Sunday at the Bucyrus Elks, 309 E. Mansfield St. “Disney's The Lion King” has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world.

TIFFIN — Friday Night Live at the Ritz will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the National Theatre, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin. Each Friday Night Live performance turns the spotlight on two or more artists of different genres.

FOREST — The village of Forest will celebrate its second annual Charlie Brown Christmas on Sunday. The day begins will a soup and salad lunch at the Forest-Jackson Public Library, followed by the start of bidding on baskets in a silent auction, also at the library.
