Ohio Ag Equipment announced its intent to acquire the Wyandot County AGCO dealer Schmidt Machine Company, Ag division, on the target date of Dec. 17. The acquisition of Schmidt Machine Company’s equipment business will strengthen Ohio Ag Equipment’s ability to service the ag industry by providing customers in central Ohio with an exceptional line of equipment and product support.

Through the efforts of the Wyandot Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors during their strategic development forum held in July 2018, which included a members and community input survey, the Chamber identified workforce as one of three major issues to address.

Custom Glass Solutions LLC was recently acquired by affiliates of Stellex Capital Management, a middle market private equity firm with offices in New York and London. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Whole Life Fitness in Upper Sandusky recently completed an expansion, adding a significant amount of exercise room to the business. “We expanded into the area where Mandy (Baldwin) was and changed it from a retail space into an open exercise room,” co-owner Randy Jacob said.

Dean Lehman of Sycamore has been named the director of information technology and biomedical engineering at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. Lehman oversees the hospital’s computer and phone systems and collaborates with clinical, financial and support staff to implement efficient and cost-effective technological solutions for operational improvements. He also manages the biomedical engineer responsible for maintaining clinical equipment at WMH.
