Ag Credit invites vets

Ag Credit will offer free cookies and coffee for all military veterans from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday in observance of Veterans Day. The offer applies to all Ag Credit offices.            

Klein, Wagner exchange vows

Rose Klein and David Wagner, both of Cleveland, exchanged wedding vows Sept. 3, 2016 at The Old Wooden Barn, Hudsonville, Michigan. The Rev. Curt Dalaba officiated the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.

Quarter auction to benefit youth

A quarter auction fundraiser to benefit the Upper Sandusky Middle School eighth-grade trip to Washington, D.C., and Gettysburg is slated for Sunday in the Masters’ Building at the Wyandot County Fairgrounds. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. for paddles up at 1 p.m.

Visiting professor to address globalization

FINDLAY — Tran Nguyen Khang, a lecturer in the faculty of international relations at Vietnam National University of Social Sciences and Humanities, will speak about globalization’s effects on Vietnam at an upcoming University of Findlay presentation.

Library to close for holiday

The Upper Sandusky Community Library will close at 6 p.m. Nov. 23 and remain closed on Thanksgiving Day. The library’s What’s Cookin’ discussion group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 28 with guest speaker Tony Weible from Andrew’s Pastries, Marion.
