BUCYRUS — The Crawford County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogy Society will hold its last meeting of this year at 7 p.m. Nov. 17 in the conference room at the Bucyrus Library. The program will be “Show and Tell.”

Ag Credit will offer free cookies and coffee for all military veterans from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday in observance of Veterans Day. The offer applies to all Ag Credit offices.

A quarter auction fundraiser to benefit the Upper Sandusky Middle School eighth-grade trip to Washington, D.C., and Gettysburg is slated for Sunday in the Masters’ Building at the Wyandot County Fairgrounds. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. for paddles up at 1 p.m.

FINDLAY — Members of the University of Findlay’s Marching Oiler Brass recently performed in a concert.

TIFFIN — The Heidelberg University symphonic band, under the direction of Jonathan Waters, will perform its fall concert, a folk-inspired program titled “Music of the People,” on Saturday in Gundlach Theatre.

FINDLAY — Tran Nguyen Khang, a lecturer in the faculty of international relations at Vietnam National University of Social Sciences and Humanities, will speak about globalization’s effects on Vietnam at an upcoming University of Findlay presentation.

The Upper Sandusky Community Library will close at 6 p.m. Nov. 23 and remain closed on Thanksgiving Day. The library’s What’s Cookin’ discussion group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 28 with guest speaker Tony Weible from Andrew’s Pastries, Marion.
