Donation to cancer patients

Railroad show being held in Fremont

FREMONT — The Norwalk & Western Railroad will be hosting a model train show at the Fremont Community Recreation Complex, 600 St. Joseph St., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. The show will feature model trains of all scales, railroad memorabilia and books, scenery, track supplies and much more for sale.

Forest library planning basket auction

FOREST — Friends of the Forest-Jackson Public Library is planning its 12th annual gift basket silent auction and is seeking donations of baskets, items, gift cards and cash toward this year’s fundraiser. Donations are tax-deductible and proceeds from the auction will go toward programming at the library.
