Wild Wednesdays continue

CRESTLINE — Wild Wednesdays with the Crawford Park District continue at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Dec. 14 at Lowe-Volk Park, 2401 Ohio 598, Crestline. Preschoolers and their parents are invited to visit the nature center for an hour of nature exploration.

Ohio energy bill help available

The Home Energy Assistance Program Winter Crisis Program began Nov. 1 and is to continue through March 31 or as long as funds remain available. The Winter Crisis Program was created to provide financial assistance, one time per heating season, to income eligible households who are threatened with disconnection of their heating source, have service already disconnected, need to establish new service or transfer service or have less than a 25 percent supply of bulk fuel.

Home-school event set

CRESTLINE — The Crawford Park District is inviting home-school students to learn about the night sky Thursday with an inflatable planetarium at Lowe-Volk Park, 2401 Ohio 598, Crestline. Children ages 5-8 are invited to visit from 9-10 a.m. and children ages 9-12 will meet from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Humane Society: December 6, 2016

The following report was prepared and submitted by the Wyandot County Humane Society on Dec. 1 and is correct as of that date: Pets reported as missing since the previous report that have not been found include a red and white older springer spaniel, two female German shepherds, a black and white male heeler-fox terrier mix, a white and brindle neutered male bulldog-beagle mix, a gray male kitten, two female yorkies, a male black cat and a declawed neutered male yellow and white cat.
