The following report was prepared and submitted by the Wyandot County Humane Society on Jan. 16 and is correct as of that date. Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been found include a tan male French bulldog, a neutered male tiger cat, a male gray cat, a tri-colored neutered male beagle, a neutered male black Lab with a white chest, a male redbone hound, and a spayed female brown cat.

Upper Sandusky Middle School has set a goal this school year to collect 100,000 Box Tops to raise $100,000 in a program that helps offset the cost for the school trip to Washington, D.C.

CAREY — The Dorcas Carey Public Library is offering a “Chill Out and Read” winter reading program for all ages. Patrons are invited to participate by checking out books from the library.

The public is invited to a couponing class led by Aimee Boes from 6:30-8 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Upper Sandusky Community Library. Boes, adult programming specialist at the USCL, will lead a class outlining methods to save money using coupons, rebates, apps and other cost-saving tips and ideas.
