USCL’s reading program goes on

“Build a Better World” is the theme of Upper Sandusky Public Library’s 2017 Summer Reading Program for all ages. Patrons are invited to try something new this summer: at home, in the community, throughout the country, and around the globe.

Movie about Tree Town speaker

FOREST — Learn the story of Travis Freeman during a showing of the movie “23 Blast” at 1 p.m. June 29 and June 30, and 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. July 6 at Forest-Jackson Public Library, 102 W. Lima St. Freeman will be the speaker at Tree Town Festival church in the park service at 10:30 a.m. July 9.

Pork chop barbecue to benefit USCL

Friends of the Library’s annual pork chop barbecue fundraiser is from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bicentennial Park, 252 N. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky. A $9 meal by Harlan’s BBQ and Catering includes two barbecue pork chops, baked beans, scalloped potatoes, a roll and water.
