Crawford County photo contest deadline Friday

Senior citizens age 60 and older may register now for Wyandot County Council on Aging’s annual summer picnic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 7 at Ellis Lake, 7430 TH 124, Upper Sandusky. There will be horse shoes, cornhole, nature walks, a euchre tournament, board games, live music and an ice cream truck.

HHWP CAC’s HEAP program helps beat the heat

HHWP Community Action Commission’s HEAP 2017 Summer Crisis Program begins July 1 and continues through Aug. 31or until funding and/or equipment is fully exhausted. This program may provide a payment up to $300 toward a regulated or up to $500 toward an unregulated electric bill and/or a window air conditioner and/or a tower oscillating electric fan.
