The maternal grandparent is LuCinda Stolz, of Cheyenne, Wyoming. The paternal grandparents are Marty Rodgers, of Upper Sandusky; and the late Jon Field, of Marseilles.

Maria and Lyle Higgins, of Kirby, are the parents of a girl. Alivia Jade Higgins was born at 1:23 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky.

FINDLAY — Blanchard Valley Health System is offering educational scholarships to individuals pursuing health care careers. BVHS associates and current college students may be eligible to apply. The following report was prepared and submitted by the Wyandot County Humane Society on Monday and is correct as of that date. Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been found include a red tick hound, a long hair retriever mix, a white female German shepherd, a black and tan neutered male German shepherd and a male tiger cat.

The Catholic Ladies of Columbia recently donated $1,500 to St. Peter School. The CLC held a bake sale and proceeds were matched with charitable donations from the CLC Home Office.
