Seneca County Genealogical Society set to meet

TIFFIN — The Seneca County Genealogical Society will be meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library’s Frost-Kalnow Room. The program presented will be a downloaded video presentation of a session from RootsTech 2019, the world’s largest family history conference.

Trisha Dyer and K. Tyler Conn, of Sycamore, are the parents of a girl. Ilyana Elayne Dyer was born Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky. She was 20.5 inches long and weighed 8 pounds, 10.8 ounces.

Greyson Cruz Field

Sheena Stolz and Daniel Field, of Upper Sandusky, are the parents of a boy. Greyson Cruz Field was born Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky. The maternal grandparent is LuCinda Stolz, of Cheyenne, Wyoming. The paternal grandparents are Marty Rodgers, of Upper Sandusky; and the late Jon Field, of Marseilles.

Alivia Jade Higgins

Maria and Lyle Higgins, of Kirby, are the parents of a girl. Alivia Jade Higgins was born at 1:23 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky.

Blanchard Valley offers scholarships

FINDLAY — Blanchard Valley Health System is offering educational scholarships to individuals pursuing health care careers. BVHS associates and current college students may be eligible to apply. Humane Society: February 26, 2019

The following report was prepared and submitted by the Wyandot County Humane Society on Monday and is correct as of that date. Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been found include a red tick hound, a long hair retriever mix, a white female German shepherd, a black and tan neutered male German shepherd and a male tiger cat.

The Catholic Ladies of Columbia recently donated $1,500 to St. Peter School. The CLC held a bake sale and proceeds were matched with charitable donations from the CLC Home Office.
