Wyandot Memorial offering Living with Diabetes course April 24 and 25

The Wellness Center at Wyandot Memorial Hospital is offering its Living with Diabetes course to diabetics and their support persons from 9 a.m. to noon April 24 and 25 in the conference room on the hospital’s lower level. Living with Diabetes is a multi-disciplinary approach to disease management, which includes sessions with a nurse, exercise physiologist, dietitian and pharmacist.

Turkey processing seminar April 10

ANTWERP — The Ohio Department of Natural Resources encourages outdoor enthusiasts interested in learning to process a turkey after the hunt to attend a free informational seminar held from 6 - 8:30 p.m. April 10 at the Antwerp Conservation Club, 17814 Road 53, in Antwerp.

Bike safety rodeo is April 27

A bike safety rodeo is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 27 at Upper Sandusky High School, 850 N. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky. The event is open to children in kindergarten through grade six and will include bike registration, inspections, safety lessons, a practice course and snacks, water and giveaways.

Meeting minutes: April 1, 2019

The Wyandot Piecemakers met at Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky on March 24. Under old business, the slate of new officers was presented by the nominating committee. Their duties begin with the May meeting and they were thanked for volunteering.
