Piano recital held for residents at Westbrook Assisted Living

Piano students of Louise Lortz, rural Upper Sandusky, performed at a piano recital held at Westbrook Assisted Living in Upper Sandusky June 7. Jana Radabaugh, daughter of Greg and Angie Radabaugh, of Upper Sandusky, opened the program. She played “Dance in F Major” by Mozart, “The Spy” by Faber, “You Raise Me Up,” by Graham and Loveland, “The Music of the Night” by Webber and “River Flows In You” by Yiruma.

Bair offering extended hours at WMH

Megan Bair, CNM, CNP, is offering walk-in office hours at Wyandot Memorial Hospital to care for females age 12 and older. Bair is available from 8 a.m. to noon on the first Saturday of each month for new and existing patients to walk-in for care without appointments.

Register by Wednesday for Living with Diabetes

The Wellness Center at Wyandot Memorial Hospital is offering its Living with Diabetes course to diabetics and their support persons from 5:30-8:30 p.m. June 19 and 20 in the conference room on the hospital’s lower level. Living with Diabetes is a multi-disciplinary approach to disease management, which includes sessions with a nurse, exercise physiologist, dietitian and pharmacist. The course helps participants improve self-management of blood sugars through education, diet, exercise and medication.

Humane Society: June 11, 2019

The following report was prepared and submitted by the Wyandot County Humane Society on Monday and is correct as of that date. Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been found include a large fluffy neutered male black cat, a male gray tiger cat, a gray calico female cat that is microchipped, a young female brown and white boxer, a white and gray male cat, a tan female lab mix puppy, a shetland sheepdog and a tri-color neutered male coonhound.
