Upper parli pro teams advance to state

To run a business meeting right, correct parliamentary procedure, or parli pro, should be used. Parli pro helps a meeting to run smoothly and efficiently. It preserves the rights of the minority, yet lets the majority rule. Parli pro allows members to address items of business and change or modify that business to fit the wishes of the organization. Parli pro also allows members to deal with issues or concerns that arise during the discussion of business in a way that is courteous to all. Some of these abilities include amending a motion, referring an item to a committee, rescinding a motion or rising to a point of order.

Fit for a sing

Rams hold off Blue Devils, 51-50

CAREY — It may have just been Upper Sandusky’s opener in the Northern 10 Athletic Conference, but it was obvious from the atmosphere just how much this one game meant. Sadie Arend missed a baseline jumper in the closing seconds, and the Rams held off Carey, 51-50, in a packed gym Friday night at Carey.
