Christmas will be in full swing Friday evening in Carey. The Carey Area Chamber of Commerce’s 15th annual Christmas in Carey is set to take place 5-8 p.m. in the downtown area.

The cookbook discussion group What’s Cookin’? held its monthly meeting Monday evening at the Upper Sandusky Community Library. The theme of the meeting was Thanksgiving leftovers and attendees were encouraged to make a new dish out of their leftovers from Thanksgiving for a potluck-style meal.

NORTH ROBINSON — Upper Sandusky’s boys swimming team opened the season Monday with a 57-37 victory at Colonel Crawford, while the Rams girls were defeated, 64-30.
