Downtown Upper Sandusky got a whole lot greener this week, and it wasn’t just because spring started. The Upper Sandusky Parks Department deployed brand new green Tree City USA banners Thursday morning on 61 light poles in downtown Upper Sandusky.

Upper Sandusky residents now have an easier local option for cardboard recycling. A portable cardboard recycling bin was placed in the front corner of the parking lot of the EMS building at 401 N. Warpole St., Upper Sandusky on Thursday morning.

Wyandot County residents have another option for auto repairs with RF Auto LLC, located in Upper Sandusky. The company, which handles any mechanical or electrical problems with vehicles, was founded by Robert Fox this past October and has been operating mainly through positive word of mouth.
