Verne Hart has Upper ribbon cutting After 61 years of business in Marion, Verne Hart Insurance expanded for the first time with its Upper Sandusky location this past month. It celebrated the expansion with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a special open house this past Thursday, offering coffee and pastries in the morning and brisket and pulled pork from The Corner Inn for lunch to anyone that stopped by. Upper Sandusky FFA teams compete in CDEs This spring, 32 students from the Upper Sandusky FFA competed in the State Spring Career Development Event Contests (CDEs). Upper Sandusky had seven different contest areas that students participated in: agronomy, equine management, general livestock, nature interpretation, poultry, wildlife management and dairy cattle.
