Wyandot/Crawford wins all-star game SANDUSKY — The Northern 10 Athletic Conference showed what a good baseball league it was during the season, and it did again Tuesday night. Wynford school construction schedule hampered by rain BUCYRUS — In his report at Monday’s board of education meeting, Wynford Superintendent Fred Fox said the Wynford building project is three weeks behind due to recent rain. Riverdale enters contract with Nutrition Food Group MOUNT BLANCHARD — The Riverdale Board of Education agreed to enter into a one-year food service management contract with Nutrition Food Group during its monthly meeting Monday night. The fixed-fee $20,000 program is set to take effect July 1 and end June 30, 2020. It was approved 4-1 by the board, with President Michelle Courtad casting the dissenting vote. Read More
Sherrieb wins Gillfillan Memorial 5K race MOUNT BLANCHARD — Joseph Sherrieb was the overall winner of the annual Mark Gillfillan Memorial 5K held Friday at Riverdale. The 25-year-old Sherrieb finished in 18:29.2 to beat 14-year-old Preston Perkins by 13.4 seconds. Perkins finished in 18:42.6 to win the male 10-14 division. Read More
