The Eagles nonetheless clinched at least a share of the overall championship but the Tigers can get a piece of the title if they can win dual matches this week against Wynford and Colonel Crawford. Riverdale’s Kuenzli wins BVC player of year honor FINDLAY — Riverdale’s Andrew Kuenzli was Blanchard Valley Conference tournament medalist and earned conference player of the year honors Monday in the league tournament at Findlay Country Club. Kuenzli on Monday shot a 76, by far the best score of the day. Liberty-Benton’s Seth Lasiter shot an 82 to finish as runner-up. Kuenzli, a junior, edged Lasiter, a senior, for league player of the year honors, with a 128-127.5 advantage in points, which includes results from BVC duals. Read More
Miller scores 3 goals as Riverdale stays unbeaten with 6-2 victory CONTINENTAL — Coby Miller had a hat track as the Riverdale boys soccer team remained undefeated with a 6-2 victory against Continental on Saturday at Continental. Miller scored unassisted goals in the 14th, 37th and 56th minutes as the Falcons (4-0-2) built a 6-0 lead.
