A two-vehicle crash occurred Saturday morning in Upper Sandusky. The police report states Marcia Wooten, Upper Sandusky, was eastbound in a white 2007 Dodge Dakota on West Wyandot Avenue when she failed to stop for the red light at North Eighth Street, striking the front right of a red 2006 Subaru Forester driven by Joshua Lutz, Upper Sandusky, causing functional damage to Lutz’s vehicle and disabling damage to her own.

Area motorcycle enthusiasts held a breast cancer awareness ride Saturday afternoon with proceeds benefiting cancer patients in Wyandot County. The ‘‘Bikin’ for Boobies’ ride left Route 30 Harley-Davidson in Upper Sandusky with over 50 motorcycles and traveled to Desperado’s Bar & Grill in Huntsville, where attendees were treated to live music from Jeff Newland Acoustic.

Upper Sandusky High School graduating class of 2019 celebrates the end of its high school years with confetti cannons Friday evening at the USHS gymnasium. A total of 126 students received diplomas. Upper Sandusky Mayor and USHS Class of ’91 alum, Scott Washburn gave the commencement address.

Carey’s Lykins advances to state finals in 400 dash

COLUMBUS — Carey junior Addystin Lykins’ goal has been to stand on the podium, make those in her school and town proud and make the finals of the state track and field meet. And thanks to posting the fifth-best qualifying time in the preliminaries of the 400 dash in 58.51 on Friday, she will have an excellent chance to do then when she competes in the finals at 10:35 a.m. today at Ohio State University’s Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

Mullholand places 10th in state high jump

COLUMBUS — Finishing third at the state track and field meet as a freshman set high expectations for the future for Mohawk’s Taeylor Mullholand. Having a personal best height of 5-6 this year set the bar even higher. Mullholand entered the state meet this year hoping to improve upon her third-place finish last season. Although she cleared 4-10, 5-0 and 5-2, Mullholand wasn’t able to clear 5-3 on any of her three attempts and finished in 10th place Friday evening at Ohio State University’s Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.
