A New Riegel man accused of attacking Wyndot County Sheriff Mike Hetzel was arraigned Friday in county common pleas courtr. Joshua B. Risner, 30, pleaded not guilty to a second-degree felony charge of escape and assault, a fourth-degree felony. Risner is accused of assaulting Hetzel on the third floor of the Wyandot County Courthouse in November, while awaiting to enter the courtroom for a pretrial hearing for a seperate case.
