A 21-year-old Carey man accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl is facing felony charges. Wyandot County sheriff’s deputies arrested Devon Scott Layfield on his birthday Sunday.

An Upper Sandusky man convicted of two felony charges involving the manufacturing of meth was sentenced to eight years in prison Thursday morning. Wyandot County Common Pleas Court Judge Kate Aubry appointed attorney Todd Workman to represent Benjamin M. Gamble, 26, after Gamble arrived at court without a defense lawyer.
