Trophy shop continues to be a prize business

Hidden behind the sounds of pins being knocked over is a local trophy shop that has been doing business in Upper Sandusky for more than four years.
Trophies-n-Such, which used to be located in downtown Upper Sandusky, moved to its current location at the back of Wyandot Lanes this past fall and continues to provide trophies and other specialty items to area customers.
The move has created a little confusion, though, for customers.
"We operated in the same place with the same phone number and everything, but it was better for us to move down here because this all was a bar for the bowling alley and we were not using it," said Marcia Walton, owner and manager of Trophies-n-Such. "When I moved, the owner said she wouldn't rent the place right away, so I engraved a sign with where I moved and the phone number, but they rented the place right away and the sign went down.
"So now, I bet the renters have a lot of people walking into their house because they think it was a business before and they would just walk in. ... I have a lot of people that are saying, ‘Oh, we just walked into a family house; we didn't know you were back there,'" she said.
