Final ticks of the clock
Many of the Riverdale starters, including Kristi Kotterman (22), slap the hands of their teammates as they are replaced by reserves late in the fourth quarter of Friday’s Division III state semifinal against Sugarcreek Garaway. The Falcons struggled shooting the ball in their 45-28 loss against the Pirates, bringing their season to a close.

Christmas for a family
A trip to Pomeroy brought Christmas from area residents to residents of the southeast Ohio village. Many in the poverty-stricken town are assisted annually through Upper Sandusky Apostolic Church's Blankets 4 Kids program, which is expanding to include three more trips each year.
