Snowy foundation
The foundation has been set for the controversial new bridge across the Sandusky River from Stepping Stones Park to Rivers Edge Park. The project is expected to cost $711,700, with a grant from the Ohio Department of Transportation totaling $142,340. The Upper Sandusky City Council passed an ordinance by a vote of 4-3 to move forward with the project, which has been considered for many years, and is the next step in a master plan to connect the trails in the city.
