R’dale holding forum for superintendent search
MOUNT BLANCHARD - The Riverdale Local School District board of education is progressing with its search for a new superintendent of schools to replace Joyce Plummer. In order for the board to better understand the community’s expectations of the next district superintendent, the board is hosting an open forum for district parents, students and residents.
The public is invited to come to Riverdale High School from 6-6:45 p.m. Thursday for the meeting.
The board is asking residents to help identify the major issues facing the district in the next three to five years and share their expectations and what personal and professional qualifications they think are important in a superintendent. The information will be used by the board in its development of a candidate profile and during the search, according to a press release from the district.
The Ohio School Boards Association is assisting the Riverdale board with the search.
Consultant Kendall Lee will conduct the forums.
