
Gymnastics event being held in Toledo
TOLEDO - The FrogTown Youth Sports Boosters, Inc., will be holding a Junior Olympic gymnastics competition for levels four through 10. The competition, called the FrogTown Invitational, will be held at the Seagate Center in downtown Toledo on Saturday and Sunday.
The FrogTown Invitational will have 400 competitors ranging from ages six to 18.
Spectators are welcome throughout the weekend. Admission at the door is $10 for adults and $7 for students. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Former players encouraged to attend game
In honor of Upper Sandusky girls basketball coach Andra Bell, all former players are invited to attend her final home game Tuesday against Tiffin Columbian.
Kehres, Micheli to speak during FCNB event
Mount Union football coach Larry Kehres, along with Raiders' quarterback and former Upper Sandusky star Greg Micheli, will be the guest speakers at The First Citizens National Bank presentation at Woody's Restaurant on Tuesday.
The breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m., with the presentation scheduled for 8 a.m.
The cost is $8 per person and reservations are required to attend the event. Limited tickets will be available at the door.

TU basketball having ‘Think Pink' game
TIFFIN - Tiffin University's women's basketball team is hosting a "Think Pink Game" at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 14 against Wayne State University in the Gillmor Student Center Gymnasium.
The game is part of a promotion developed by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association to raise breast cancer awareness. All breast cancer survivors in attendance will be recognized at halftime. Fans are invited to wear pink to show their support.
Donations can be made to the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund at a designated table at any time throughout the game. The team also will be selling 50-50 raffle tickets and handing out prizes to winners.
