Businesses received information to help them prepare for the Northwest Ohio Volunteer Firemen's Convention that will take place in Upper Sandusky on June 20-21.
It also is the 150th anniversary celebration for the Upper Sandusky Fire Department, said Jeff Conley, an Upper Sandusky fireman who is co-chairing the event with Matt Swavel.
The last time the convention was held in Upper Sandusky was 1979.
Swavel and Conley led a meeting for business owners Wednesday at the Upper Sandusky Community Library with members of the Upper Sandusky Area Chamber of Commerce.
Parking restrictions in the city during the event are tentative at this time.
Waterball is planned for June 20 on East Wyandot Avenue between Sandusky Avenue and Fifth street.
A cruise will go from West Wyandot Avenue to Seventh Street on the same day.
The Queens Pageant and convention headquarters will be from Johnson to Walker streets.
A parade will take place June 21.
