Historical quilt winner
The Wyandot County Historical Society recently announced Jan Below, Sycamore, as the 2007 historical quilt raffle winner. The funds generated from the quilt raffle go toward the daily expenses of the Wyandot County Historical Society. Marseilles UMC holding free Super Bowl contest
MARSEILLES - The Marseilles community is holding a free contest for picking the two teams that will be in the Super Bowl, as well as the final score of the game.
The winner will receive a new, full-sized Wilson leather football autographed by the Rev. Timothy James Benjamin. The person who picks the two teams and comes closest to the final score will win the football.
Predictions must be turned in by noon Saturday. They can be sent to tim@marseillescircuit.org or called in to the church office at 740-499-3712. Predictions should include a name, address, e-mail address, if the applicant has one, and phone number.

Ruth Circle collecting names, addresses of servicemen and women
MARSEILLES - The Ruth Circle of Marseilles United Methodist Circuit will be collecting names and addresses of any known servicemen and women. The group would like to send each person a card or letter of gratitude for choosing to serve in the United States military services.
Names and addresses may be given to any Ruth Circle member.
