Seneca County Courthouse to be open for tours two additional weekends

TIFFIN - The outpouring of interest in seeing the historic Seneca County Courthouse prompted the county commissioners to agree to open the building on two additional weekends for tours.
Guided tours will take place from 1-4 p.m. Jan. 19-20 and Feb. 16-17.
The Seneca County Commissioners are offering the tours in cooperation with the Tiffin Historic Trust in an effort to provide the county citizens an opportunity to see the building prior to voting on a bond issue that will appear on the March 4 ballot.
Local citizens will serve as guides, with training and assistance provided by Michigan Capitol Tour and Information Services representatives.
All are welcome to attend the tours. People are asked to enter at the East Market Street entrance. Written scripts of the tours and exhibits will be available in the ground floor rotunda for visitors unable to take the stairs.
