Another term
Nevada Mayor Wayne Pelter (left) is sworn in by Wyandot County Common Pleas Court Judge Kathleen Aubry on Wednesday night at the Nevada Village Council's organizational meeting. Pelter will serve another four-year term as mayor after being re-elected in the November election.
New year, same result: Nevada Council, mayor find little organization at meeting

NEVADA - The swearing began at the beginning of the Nevada Village Council meeting Wednesday night and only escalated from there.
About 10 minutes after two council members, two board of public affairs members, the clerk-treasurer and the mayor were sworn in to new terms by Wyandot County Common Pleas Court Judge Kathleen Aubry, the fireworks began in the council chambers.
It began when Mayor Wayne Pelter questioned why Chuck Daiber was up for approval as the village's snow plow operator at $75 an hour when in the past as mayor, Pelter appointed himself the street commissioner and used the town truck to plow the streets at no charge to the village.

James scores 32 in second half as Cavaliers ground Hawks
CLEVELAND (AP) - From 24 feet, swish. From 22, bottom of the net. From 21, good. From 20, count it.
And from 15, LeBron James was perfect when he had to be.
James scored 32 of his 36 in the second half, including 19 in the fourth quarter and 12 in the final 1:50 to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 98-94 win against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night.
James, who just celebrated birthday No. 23 - to match his uniform number - began the new year with another dominating performance, one that has almost become routine for Cleveland's star of stars.
"He got into one of those zones we all love," Cavaliers guard Daniel Gibson said. "It was fun to watch."
Ohio State players arrive in New Orleans for title game
NEW ORLEANS (AP) - For at least a few Ohio State Buckeyes, there was nothing easy about getting to the Big Easy.
Several players took a little longer to get to New Orleans on Wednesday to begin preparations for the Buckeyes' showdown against LSU on Monday night in the BCS title game.
Those who caught connecting flights in Chicago were delayed because of the snow and inclement weather which hit O'Hare Airport on New Year's Day.
However, by Wednesday night's deadline for being at the team hotel, the Buckeyes were all present and accounted for.
