Shooter of car dealer sought

TOLEDO (AP) — Police in Toledo are looking for a man who burst into an auto-sales shop at a busy intersection and shot the owner, who died later at a hospital.
Before he died, 35-year-old Ricky Arnaz Layson told officers he did not know the man who came into the office at R and D Auto Sales and shot him Tuesday morning.
Police now are asking for the public’s help to identify and capture the shooter.
Layson was the 15th homicide victim this year. Police say he was shot more than once in what might have been a robbery attempt.
The Associated Press reports the shooting of Layson was one of three shootings in the city in an 18-hour period.
