Police trace ferry line bomb threat to Ohio boy

PORT CLINTON (AP) — Police say a bomb threat received by a Lake Erie ferry service turned out to be an apparent prank by a juvenile in northern Ohio.
Media outlets report an employee at Jet Express in Port Clinton told police early Tuesday that a person speaking in an accent called and said the al-Qaida terrorist group was going to blow up a boat from the business.
At the time, the ferry line was closing for the night. Bomb-sniffing dogs were called to search a docked vessel but found no explosives.
Police traced the call to a home in nearby Bellevue and determined a boy was responsible.
