WHARTON — The 21st annual Wharton Festival 3-on-3 basketball tournament recently released its team champions.
“Team Hoopsters” won the boys 10-12 division, with members Cody Luzader, Jordan Littlejohn and Logan Smiley.
The team of Jared Rickle, Brendan May, Lee Holderman and Will Heussias won the boys 16-18 division under the name of “Team One.”
The team of “Sogoin On” claimed the open division championship Saturday in the Wharton Festival basketball tournament by defeating “Reverse Oreo,” a rematch of the Forest Festival championship. Team members were (from left) Jonathon Kloepfer, Harlan Frey, Ryan Frey and Justin Frey.
“Voices of Truth” took the 6-foot-and-under division championship. Members of the team were Martin Douglas, Billy Cozard, Adam Lamb and Dylan Legge.
In a rematch of the Forest Festival 3-on-3 title game, “Sogoin On” defeated “Reverse Oreo” for the men’s open division championship. Members of “Sogoin On” were Harlan Frey, Justin Frey, Ryan Frey and Jonathon Kloepfer. Members from the runner-up team were Evan Logsdon, Donovan Tolbert and Justin Ely.
