BASCOM — The Mohawk volleyball team got a combined 22 kills from Sarah Parker and Kasey Adelsperger and rolled to a 25-8, 25-16, 25-6 victory against Hopewell-Loudon on Thursday night.
Parker finished with 12 kills, 17 digs and three aces, while Adelsperger had 10 kills and a team-high three blocks. Julie Adelsperger added six kills on offense for the Warriors (6-1, 3-0 Midland Athletic League).
Ashley Parker set them up with 32 assists and also added nine digs and two aces.
Lynsey Trusty led the defense with 18 digs.
In junior varsity action, Mohawk won, 25-8, 25-7. Ali Konkle and Aubrey Ward had four kills each, while Allison Price and Stacey Clouse finished with four and five aces and six and seven assists, respectively.
Mohawk plays at Galion at 10 a.m. Saturday.
