Warriors remain perfect by topping Royals by 10 strokes

Mohawk’s Katelynn Kinley putts on No. 7 at Lincoln Hills Golf Course on Monday. She shot a 47 to lead the Warriors to a 222-232 victory against Elmwood.

The Mohawk girls golf team remained undefeated as it took down Elmwood, 222-232, on Monday at Lincoln Hills Golf Course.
Katelyn Kinley earned medalist honors with a 47, and Chelsea Clinger posted the Warriors’ second-best score with a 51.
Brooke Weininger had a 60 and Michaela Cook a 64 to post the other scoring rounds for Mohawk (7-0)
Heaven Immele, Hannah Harrison and Bri Thiery also competed for the Warriors.
Savannah Baker was tops for the Royals with a 53, and Taylor Carr (58), Sierra Semko (59) and Alexis Miller (62) also contributed to Elmwood’s score.
Mohawk’s next match is at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at Hickory Grove Golf Course.
