BUCYRUS — The Upper Sandusky junior high boys track and field team placed fifth in the 17-team Bucyrus Invitational.
The Rams tied with Ontario with 51 points, trailing Norton (93 points), Madison (80), Galion (66) and Colonel Crawford (58.5). Wynford placed 15th with two points.
Anthony Reep paced Upper Sandusky with a first-place finish in the 200 hurdles (28.5). Cory Miller took second in the high jump (5-4), while Austin Myers was runner-up in the 1600 run (5:16.28) and third in the 800 run (2:24.71).
The Rams were fourth in the 1600 relay as Shane Pack, Brandon Miller, Matt Luikart and Miller combined to run a 4:11.73.
The Royals’ best individual effort came from Dalton Benson in the 400 dash as he placed eighth with a time of 1:02.37.
Upper Sandusky finished the season with a record of 45-13-1.
Girls results were not received.
