Stansberry, Boes lead Carey past Mohawk

CAREY — The Carey golf team shot a 172 and took a forfeit victory Monday against Mohawk at Bob’s Country Side Golf Course.
The Warriors had only three participants, one short of the number needed to score as a team.
Carey’s Lincoln Stansberry and Zach Boes shared medalist honors by shooting a 39 each. Grant Wentling carded a 46, while Corbin Blair and Seth Rehus each had 48s. Josh Vantrease rounded out the lineup with a 49.
J.W. Riedel led Mohawk with a 42. Hunter Jordan scored a 49, with Dillion Ochier shooting a 53.
The Blue Devils host New Riegel at 4 p.m. Thursday at Bob’s Country Side Golf Course. The Warriors are home
