One day after Wynford beat Upper Sandusky in walkoff fashion in a sectional final game, Upper Sandusky returned the favor in a North Central Conference game as Tristen Reichelderfer drove in a pair of runs in the bottom of the seventh inning for a 5-4 Upper Sandusky victory on Thursday.
Justin Mattix singled and Alec Oney doubled to put two runners in scoring position for the Rams (10-12, 7-5 NCC). With no one out, Reichelderfer stepped to the plate and singled them both home against Wynford’s Adam Hartz (2-2), who was a winner just a day earlier.
Wynford (13-11, 6-5 NCC) went on top in the top of the sixth inning when Dustin Pfeiffer singled, moved to second on a sacrifice and scored on a Mason Davis single.

The Royals tied the game at 3 when Lantz singled and Davis walked to leadoff the fifth inning and eventually came around to score.
Garrett Huston (1-0) earned the win in relief of starter Daniel Newell, who pitched the first four innings.
Mattix and Oney finished with two hits each to lead the Rams, while Lantz, Davis, Hartz and Jerad Butler each recorded a pair of knocks for the Royals.
