Rams open NCC play with easy win against Warriors

The Upper Sandusky volleyball team opened North Central Conference play with an easy, 25-13, 25-17, 25-12 victory against Ontario on Thursday night.
Jenna Holly dominated with her serve, acing the Warriors eight times with only one error in 26 attempts. She also was 16 of 16 serve receiving.
Kalene Johnson added six aces in 11 serves with one error. She had six kills on a 15-of-17 hitting effort and had a team-high three blocks.
Taylor Graboski was efficient attacking, going 33 of 39 with 23 kills. Jessi Holly added 12 kills and only made one error in 21 attempts. She also had a team-high eight digs.
Allison Snyder was perfect in 65 set attempts, finishing with 29 assists.
Upper Sandusky rolled in the junior varsity match, 25-7, 25-20. Kate Taylor had six aces and Taven Wentling had four kills to lead the way.
The Rams host Lucas at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
