Marseilles set to host 5K run, walk at park

MARSEILLES — The Hardin County Family YMCA and Marseilles Community Fest are sponsoring a 5K run and walk at 9 a.m. Saturday beginning and ending at the Marseilles Community Park.
Awards will be given to the top three finishers in the 5K run for men and women and to the top finishers in each age group.
Age divisions for men and women are 14 and younger, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59 and 60 and older.
The Marseilles Ladies Fire Auxillary will serve a pancake brunch to participants after the event.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and is $15 for runners. Walkers can pay $5 to receive a T-shirt if any still are available.
