Festival hosting sports events

The Upper Sandusky Firemen’s Festival is holding a number of events July 27.
A cornhole tournament will be located at the beer garden, with the first bag tossed at 10 a.m. Pre-registration is being accepted at the fire station or by 9 a.m. the day of contest.
A waterball challenge is set for 2 p.m. Pre-registrations are being accepted at the fire station or by 1 p.m. the day of contest. There are three people to each team with a cost of $10 per team.
A kiddie tractor pull is set for 12 p.m. Pre-registrations begin at 11 a.m. the day of the festival. The event is a state-qualifying pull and is free to the public.
A poker run begins at 11 a.m. Registrations can be picked up at the fire station or on the day of the festival at Thiel’s Motor Sports, 505 W, Wyandot Ave., beginning at 9 a.m. The cost is $10 for a motorcycle and $5 more for an additional rider. Proceeds from the event go toward the Lacie Higgins benefit.
