Falcons fall at Lucas to end season

LUCAS — In its season finale Friday, Riverdale softball was defeated, 8-0, at Lucas.
Amber Beltz continued her late-season surge as she had a double for the Falcons, while Jordan Flemming added a pair of singles.
Jordyn Wright (2-15) took the pitching loss, while Paige Deal (10-6) picked up the win for the Cubs (15-11, 9-5 North Central Conference).
Riverdale finishes the season 3-17 overall and 0-13 in conference play.
