Upper Sandusky Police Department
A resident in the 400 block of South Fifth Street was observed out past his curfew while on North Sandusky Avenue on the night of May 2. The resident said he had to clear his head. He was advised to go home.
An Upper Sandusky resident was stopped on the early morning of May 3 for suspicion of intoxication. The subject was found to be tired and was advised to pull off to the side of the road.
Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office
Suspicious activity in the 10000 block of TH 103 near Upper Sandusky was reported on the morning of April 26. A resident said someone rang his doorbell, but no one was located. Only a cell phone ringing was heard.
A woman reported telephone harassment in the 14000 block of CH 115 near Upper Sandusky on the morning of April 26 regarding her husband’s ex-wife. Contact was made with the subject.
Derrick D. Ward, of Kenton, was picked up from Multi-County Correctional Center on the morning of April 26 on a warrant issued out of Upper Sandusky Municipal Court for failure to pay fines on the original offense of underage.
Rocky J. Danner, of Tiffin, was arrested on a warrant of Marion County Common Pleas Court on a warrant for theft on the evening of April 26 following a traffic stop in Sycamore. He was transported to Wyandot-Marion county line and turned over to Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Michael D. Hoel, of Bellefontaine, was transported from Ross Correctional Facility to the Wyandot County Jail on the morning of April 20.
A return of property from the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office to a Carey resident was conducted on the evening of April 21.
An Upper Sandusky resident arrived at the sheriff’s office on the afternoon of April 24 with a warrant out of Huron County for child support. It was confirmed to be a valid warrant, but was out of the pick-up radius.
Identity theft was reported on the afternoon of April 25 by a Bucyrus resident in the 17000 block of TH 10. Contact was made with the subject’s companies about the $761.95 theft.
A horse and several cows were reported on the morning of April 25 to be walking on CH 44 east of 136. Contact was made with the owner.
Deputies responded to a Sycamore residence in the 200 block of TH 136 on the afternoon of April 25 regarding a barn motion sensor being activated. Upon arrival, everything was OK.
Gerald C. Wickman, of Carey, was arrested for OVI on the early morning of April 22, following a routine traffic stop on U.S. 23 in Crawford Township. He was issued a citation for OVI and speed.
Duane P. Harris, of Monroe, Mich., was arrested for OVI on the early morning of April 22, following a routine traffic stop on U.S. 23 in Crawford Township. He was issued a citation for OVI and speed.
Assault behind the R-Bar in Carey was reported on the afternoon of April 29. The complainant said the incident occurred the night before.
Jose I. Navichoque-Raymondo and Ruben Amilcar-Pedrosa, both of Upper Sandusky, were arrested on the night of April 29 on Ohio 199 in Crane Township. Navichoque-Raymondo was arrested for no driver’s license, driving left of center and OVI, while Amilcar-Pedrosa was arrested for underage consumption.
Steven W. Davis, of McConnelsville, was cited for driving under BMV suspension on the night of April 29 following a traffic stop on East Wyandot Avenue near U.S. 23.
A bad business transaction was reported by a Carey resident on the morning of April 26.
Dennis D. King, of Delphos, was cited for speed on the evening of April 26 following a traffic stop on U.S. 23 in Crane Township.
Donald D. Hayman, of Marion, was arrested on the afternoon of April 27 by the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office on a bench warrant issued out of Upper Sandusky Municipal Court. The warrant was for failure to pay fines and costs on an original charge of OVI and driving under court suspension.
Nathan A. King, of Forest, was arrested for OVI on the early morning of April 28 following a traffic stop on CH 53 near CH 81 in Richland Township. He also was cited for OVI refusal and driving upon the left side of the roadway.
Travis S. Carroll, of West Mansfield, was arrested on the morning of April 30 for driving under suspension, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers received a call from Mohawk High School on the afternoon of April 30 regarding a student using narcotics. The student’s urine test had a positive reaction for THC and a report was forwarded to juvenile court for possible criminal charges.
A suspicious odor in the 10000 block of CH 91 near Upper Sandusky was reported on the afternoon of April 30. The complainant reported hitting the nozzle of the propane tank. The Wharton Volunteer Fire Department was contacted along with the propane company, who fixed the valve.
Problems with neighbors was reported by an Upper Sandusky resident in the 10000 block of CH 121 on the afternoon of April 30. The complainant reported neighbors putting tree limbs and bark on her property. Contact was made with the subject.
