Robert K. Smith, Urbana, was cited for open container in a motor vehicle after a deputy observed a subject sleeping in a vehicle at Marseilles Reservoir early Monday morning.
Deputies assisted Upper Sandusky Police officers in patrolling near Highland Parkway early Monday morning after several reports were made to the Upper Sandusky Police Department regarding suspicious male subjects allegedly breaking into vehicles. The incident remains under investigation by the USPD.
A resident of the 300 block of Cook Street, Nevada, reported Monday afternoon a family member had threatened her via text message. Contact was made with the complainant and the suspect’s father.
Deputies responded to a report of a field fire in the 6000 block of CH 107, Upper Sandusky, in Tymochtee Township on Monday afternoon. The McCutchenville, Upper Sandusky and Sycamore fire departments all responded to the scene. After about an hour and a half, the fire was extinguished. No one was injured and no property damage was reported.
An Upper Sandusky woman reported Monday afternoon she was having a dispute over child custody with her ex-boyfriend. Contact was made with both parties involved.
A resident of the 300 block of North Main Street, Nevada, reported early Tuesday morning her garage light was on and she was concerned someone had broken in. After a deputy arrived on scene, the complainant advised everything appeared to be OK.
