Hospital open house Sunday

Wyandot Memorial Hospital invites the community to an open house Sunday the soon-to-be-completed renovation and addition project.
The event will be held from 1-4 p.m. and visitors will have the opportunity to see the new main entrance and expanded emergency department. The sneak peek also will include Specialty Healthcare Center; physician offices; CancerCare, Hematology and Infusion Services, Wellness and Rehabilitative Services (physical, occupational and speech therapy); Respiratory and SleepCare Services; Lab; Cardiology and Nuclear Medicine; Imaging; JobCare occupational health; Patient Financial Services and Registration.
Planning for the $11.8 million project started in 2007 and ground was broken in September 2010. Elford, Inc., of Columbus, was the general contractor; and App Architecture, of Englewood, provided architectural services for the project.
