Robert Voorheis
Robert D. Voorheis, of Upper Sandusky, died Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Ohio State University’s James Cancer Hospital, Columbus. He was 40.
Born Jan. 10, 1972 in Upper Sandusky, he was a son of Barbara (Bailey) Voorheis and the late David Voorheis.
Mr. Voorheis is survived by his fiancée, Sabrina Dingus; two daughters, Lacee Koehler and Ashley Voorheis; two sons, Zachery and Gregory Tiell; a grandson, Sylar Jay; two brothers, Bruce Voorheis, Columbus; and Brandon (Tonya) Voorheis, Harpster; and two sisters, Julia Voorheis, Columbus; and Keitha (Tony Rigel) Voorheis, Delaware.
Mr. Voorheis worked for M-Bar-D of Upper Sandusky.
He was a former Boy Scout troop leader and Little League baseball coach.
He enjoyed playing on the Sycamore Grasshoppers Old Time Baseball Team, watching his children play baseball and softball and bow hunting.
Family and friends are invited to gather for words of remembrance that will be shared at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, with visitation to follow from 3-6 p.m. at Bringman-Clark Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky. A celebration of Mr. Voorheis’ life will continue that evening at their home.
