CAREY — Rebecca Sue (Shaferly) Rohdy, of Alvada, died at 11:37 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. She was 45.
Born May 11, 1966 in Findlay, she was a daughter of Richard D. and Susan K. (Walter) Shaferly. They survive in Alvada. She married Daniel Rohdy on Jan. 5, 1991 in Findlay and he survives.
Also surviving are her brothers, Dennis J. Shaferly, Vanlue; and Jerry D. (Melissa) Shaferly, Alvada; a sister, Kathryn M. (Daniel) Huskins, Arlington; two nieces and two nephews.
She was a 1985 graduate of Vanlue High School and worked as a bus monitor for Findlay City Schools and Blanchard Valley Center in Findlay.
Mrs. Rohdy attended Bible Methodist Church in Findlay.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday Bible Methodist Church, Findlay, with the Rev. Chris Cravens and the Rev. John Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey, and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bible Methodist Church or her family in care of Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay St., Carey OH 43316-1169.
