Pearl Weber
FOREST — Pearl “Marie” Weber, formerly of Forest, died at 4:15 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2012 at Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation, Kenton. She 82.
Born Jan. 26, 1930 in Hardin County, she was a daughter of the late James Olie and Lou Emma (McKinley) Thomson. She married Robert E. Weber on June 18, 1950 and he preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 1987.
Mrs. Weber is survived by two sons Rick (Kathy) Weber, Forest; and James (Tina) Weber, Mount Blanchard; a daughter, Beth (Mike) Dear, formerly Beth Bunnell, of Kenton; two grandchildren, Matt Weber, of Findlay; and Brock Weber, of Mount Blanchard; and two sisters, Mary Brown, of Forest; and Ruth (Robert) Edgington, of Mount Blanchard.
Mrs. Weber graduated from Forest High School 1948. She was a school teacher for 30 years and retired from Riverdale Local School system in 1983.
Mrs. Weber attended Blanchard River Church of Christ.
She loved flower and vegetable gardening and spending time outdoors, where she could enjoy nature. She loved animals and always made a special effort to comfort the homeless and abused ones.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Clark Shields Funeral Home, Forest, with the Rev. Steve Umphress officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in Hueston Cemetery, Forest. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the humane society of a charity of the donor’s choice in care of Clark Shields Funeral Home, 301 S. Patterson St., Forest OH 45843.
