Heidi Tanner
CAREY - Heidi Marie Tanner, Vanlue, died at 8:52 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2008 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Ohio 568 west of Carey. She was 17.
Born Aug. 9, 1990 in Tiffin, she was a daughter of Dwight E. Tanner, Carey; and Paula A. (Brown) Tanner, Vanlue.
She is survived by a sister, Holly N., Carey; two brothers, Dwight E. “Woodchuck,” Carey; and Dustin L., Vanlue; maternal grandparents Betty and John Brown, Carey; and paternal grandmother, Sharon Tanner.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather Howard “Junie” Tanner.
Ms. Tanner was a junior attending Carey High School.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey, with the Rev. Bobby Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey. Visitation is from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

FOREST - Treva B. Bash, of West Gage Street, Forest, died at 10:55 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2008 at Blanchard Valley Health System, Findlay. She was 85.

| Gaylon Rowe
Gaylon T. Rowe, of Ohio 53, Upper Sandusky, died at 4:24 a.m. Sunday, May 25, 2008 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was 68.
Born Sept. 28, 1939 in Breeding, Ky., he was a son of Elbert and Anna (Trailor) Rowe. He married Janet Riedlinger on Dec. 30, 1961 and they divorced. He then married Drucilla Leightey on Sept. 4, 1971 and she survives in Upper Sandusky.
Mr. Rowe also is survived by two sons, Jerry A., Summerville, S.C.; and Bruce J., Upper Sandusky; a daughter, Julia L. Rowe, Lexington, S.C.; two grandchildren, Joshua and Holli Rowe; three brothers, William and Wilbie, both of Upper Sandusky; and John, Forest; and three sisters, Sue Kessler, Tiffin; and Joann Hougendoubler and Linda Dobbs, both of Mesa, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Leon; and a sister, Naomi Bower.
Mr. Rowe worked for the former Westinghouse factory in Upper Sandusky.
He was a past member of the Ohio Horseman's Association.
Mr. Rowe enjoyed horse racing, arrowhead hunting, fishing, mowing the lawn, gardening and being outdoors.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bringman-Clark Funeral Home with the Rev. Julianne Smith officiating. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

| Linda Wilcox
CAREY - Linda S. Wilcox, New Riegel, died at 11:15 a.m. Sunday, May 25, 2008 at her daughter's home in Fostoria. She was 61.
Born March 13, 1947 in Tiffin, she was a daughter of Harold L. “Doggie” England and Mary E. Church. She married Gerald Schaade and they divorced. She then married James A. Wilcox and he died March 2, 2006.
Mrs. Wilcox is survived by her mother, Berwick; a daughter, Roxanne Rhodes, Fostoria; a son, Jason, Fostoria; three brothers, Ronald England, Fremont; Steven England, Republic; and Richard England, Berwick; two sisters, Judy Stockdale, New Riegel; and Gloria Valentic, Berwick; two grandchildren, Bobbi England and Dakota Wilcox; two stepgrandchildren, Donovan and Justice Vogel; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dean Heintz; two sisters, Martha Burd and Pamela Harrison; and a great-grandson.
Mrs. Wilcox was a homemaker.
She was of the Protestant faith.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, Carey, with the Rev. Jim Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, Carey. Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

| Dolly Saluga
Dolly I. Saluga, formerly of Mount Gilead and more recently of Fairhaven Retirement and Health Care Community, died at 5:55 this morning in the emergency room at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. She was 87.
