Linda Akers
Linda L. "Linn" Akers, of TH 67, Morral, died at home with her loving husband by her side at 10:05 a.m. Sunday, April 27, 2008. She was 58.
Born March 28, 1950 in Dexter, she was a daughter of Charles E. Sr. and Deloris J. (Tackett) Jones. She married David K. Akers on Aug. 25, 1981 and he survives.
Mrs. Akers also is survived by two sons, Kenneth "Ken" Jones and Michael J. (Heidi) Wilson, both of Marion; a daughter, Ariana "Ari" Clint, Columbus; 11 grandchildren, Krista, Sydney, Elisa, Kaci, Collen, Kaylie, Zoe, Buddy, Sami, Noah and Ashley; a sister, Wanda "Wendy" (Jerry) Butz, LaRue; and five brothers, Charles E. (Julie) Jones Jr., Charlotte, Mich.; Robert R. (Paula) Jones, Upper Sandusky; David A. Jones, Marion; Thomas M. (Cindy) Jones, Upper Sandusky; and Joseph A. (Sandy) Jones, Sycamore.
Mrs. Akers attended LaRue Baptist Church.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Akers was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother.
She enjoyed making crafts and crocheting and knitting items, especially for her grandchildren. She made sugar cookies and collected dragon flies and pixies.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bringman-Clark Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Pasma officiating. Burial will follow in Fehl Cemetery, Marseilles. Visitation is from 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
