Beatrix Zeigler

Beatrix G. Zeigler, formerly of North Hazel Street, Upper Sandusky, died at 11:40 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 96.
Born Jan. 12, 1912 in Wyandot County, she was a daughter of Frank and Anna (Myers) Limbrecht. She married Earl Zeigler on Feb. 25, 1929 and he died May 29, 1981.
Mrs. Zeigler is survived by a son, Thomas F. (Juanita) Zeigler, Upper Sandusky; nine grandchildren, Brenda Zeigler, Linda Mosman and Tom Zeigler, all of Upper Sandusky; and six grandchildren living in Bucyrus; and a great-grandchild, Parker T. Mosman, Royal Oak, Mich.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert E., Bucyrus, who died Oct. 1, 2007.
She had cooked at the former Nick’s Hamburger Shop and had been employed by the former Evergreen Restaurant and Motel, both in Upper Sandusky.
Mrs. Zeigler was a member of First Lutheran Church for more than 70 years, where she was a member of the Ever Faithful Group, First Lutheran Women of the Church and assisted with the church rummage sales, breakfasts and dinners.
She enjoyed cooking, doing crossword puzzles and word puzzles, watching soap operas on TV and playing bingo. She also enjoyed dogs and was involved in the activities of the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Julianne Smith officiating. By personal request, her body has been donated to Ohio State University Department of Anatomical Study.
